I created this site as a clean and simple showcase for the best of the best of my bird photos; each has been re-processed with the latest software I have to make it as good as I can.

Initially, at least, there is only one post per species, but I have many, many more bird photos that I have shared over the years, and earlier versions of those you will find here. You can find all of these over in my Birds album on Flickr.

As I write this in mid 2023, I am approaching 700 photos in the album. It seems I have been sharing birds since I found a way to do so, as the oldest photo was taken in 2005 — the same year I joined Flickr.
