A sea bird in mid-flight above ocean waves, with another sea bird floating on the water nearby. The bird in flight has wings fully spread wide, showing feathers in shades of white, gray, and black. The bird on the water is mostly white with dark head and spotted markings on its body. The ocean is a mix of blue and light gray, with gentle ripples and small splashes. The lighting gives a cool, early morning or late afternoon ambiance.

A Tītī Wainui (Fairy Prion, Pachyptila turtur) flies above a Karetai Hurukoko (Cape Pigeon, Cape Petrel, Daption capense) on a Petrel Station trip guided by Scott Brooks off the coast of Tutukaka beyond the Poor Knights Islands.
