Kuruwhengi

The Kuruwhengi (Australasian Shoveler, Spatula rhynchotis) is a wary bird so my earlier photos (at Pauatahanui Wildlife Reserve) were not great. I managed to use cover to get close to a small flock on Waimanu Lagoons at Waikanae Beach.
