Canada Goose

Considered a pest in Aotearoa New Zealand, the Canada Goose (Kuihi, Branta canadensis) is nevertheless a stately-looking bird.

This was one of several noisily hanging about at the Waimanu Lagoons at the Waikanae River mouth.
