Its crown is fluffy and slightly elongated at the back. The upper parts of the bird are a warm chestnut brown, including its wings and tail. The beak is small and pointed. The background is a soft blur of green, suggesting a lush, natural environment.

White-crested Laughingthrush

This White-crested Laughingthrush (Garrulax leucolophus) was photographed in the Wings of Asia aviary at Mandai Bird Paradise in Singapore. However, there is a wild, introduced population in the small island nation as well.
