The picture shows a vibrant bird perched on a branch. The bird has a striking combination of colors with a glossy blue head, neck, and upper chest. Its eyes are surrounded by a black patch that extends to its beak, giving it a mask-like appearance. The lower chest and belly of the bird are a rich orange, and its back appears to be a darker shade of blue with hints of orange at the edges of its feathers. The bird's legs are grey, and its claws are wrapped around the branch, which is a muted brown with a rough texture. The background is a soft focus of green foliage, which complements the bird's vivid colors.

Superb Starling

I said in my other post (see below) that the Superb Starling (Lamprotornis superbus) is very aptly named. This view hides its iridescent wings and focuses on its rich chestnut brown and glossy blue and black.
